The eligibility criteria to apply for the UBC’s international scholars program are:

• You must be an international student who will be studying in Canada on a Canadian study permit.
• You must enter UBC from a recognized secondary school, or transfer from your first year at a post-secondary college or other university.
• I must graduate from high school.
• Your school certificate must be before November 2022.
• You must be applying for your first undergraduate degree program.
• I must meet all these UBC’s admission requirements.

 

Financial Benefits

For merit based, international Major Entrance Scholarships and Outstanding International Student Awards scholarships get the following benefits:

• You get a tuition fee waiver.
• Basic living expenses are also covered by the scholarship.
