Commonwealth Masters Scholarships 2024-25 are now open to low-income students from all over the globe. With the collaboration of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the UK government announced the fully funded Commonwealth Masters Scholarships for or Low-income Countries talented students who want to study in the United Kingdom but have no resources.
Students from low income countries can apply for the Commonwealth Masters Scholarships in the Full-time Master’s Degree program. The scholarship will enable the hardworking and talented applicants as well as to achieve the high skills that are necessary for sustainable development. The CSC scholarships 2024-25 also aims to collect those applicants who wish to study abroad but cannot afford it.
The application process to apply for Commonwealth Masters Scholarships 2024-25 is online and the Commonwealth countries can be eligible to apply. The CSC fully funded Scholarships has different themes that including strengthening Science and technology for development, Promoting global prosperity, strengthening global peace, security and governance, Strengthening health systems and capacity, strengthening resilience and response to crises and access, inclusion & opportunity etc.
The Commonwealth Masters Scholarships covers the financial benefits of the students including the tuition fee, airfare, accommodation, housing allowance rate of £1,347 per month, or £1,652 per month for those students who are at universities in the London metropolitan area and much more. Eligibility Criteria of Commonwealth Masters Scholarship
Each scholarship has different requirements. So you can also fulfill all the requirements to apply for Commonwealth Masters Scholarships. Let’s check
- You must be a citizen of Commonwealth country.
- Or you are granted refugee status/the applicant must be a British Protected Person.
- You must be a permanent resident of the eligible Commonwealth countries.
- You are able to start your Master’s degree program in September/October 2024.
- Before September 2024, you must have your first degree with a ratio (2:1) honours standard.
- Or you have a second class degree (2:2) and a relevant Postgraduate degree such as a Master.
- All required documents are in the required format.
- Provides English Proficiency language certificate.
- The CSC would not normally offer for a second UK Master’s degree. But If you are applying for a second UK Master’s degree program, so provide the proof of justification to why you wish to choose this study program.

Financial Benefits of Commonwealth Masters Scholarships
The Financial Benefits of the Commonwealth Masters Scholarships are as:
- If you are selected for Commonwealth Masters Scholarships, you get a tuition fee waiver.
- The airfare ticket from your home country to the Scholarship place and return ticket also.
- They provide a living allowance of £1,347 per month.
- For those who are at universities in the London metropolitan area, get £1,652 per month.
- They also provide a warm clothes allowance.
- The applicable Thesis grant towards the cost of preparing a thesis or dissertation is also covered by the scholarship.
- Study travel grant is also provided
- If a scholar has kids and is widowed, divorced, or a single parent, they provides the child allowance of £576.61/per month for the first child and £143 per month for the second child and for the third child under the age of 16, if their children are living with them at the same location in the UK.
